loud.
i'll explain process later. gotta head to work. adios.
Simple process of writing for this one. Cut the samples, make the first measures. Distortion, distortion, distorion. Come back in with buzzes and Bass drum. Lay over melody made from single waves. All done. Now top with peanuts and cheese.

Flight Delay
This is the soundtrack when you find out your flight has been delayed, so you walk to another terminal in order to grab a bite of food. You have a drink and lose track of time. You start running towards your terminal with minutes to spare only to find out you ran in the wrong direction.

ECOTERRORISM.
Hi all, this is my first submission!
Had a blast doing this.
Detailed description... hm. I mean, I chopped it up in Live, made a small cycle of some of it, ran it through a notch filter and used that as my basic synth tones.
That, and like a dozen compressors and I'm good to go ;) OH, and I used a resonator thing in Live - CORPUS - to generate the bell-like space around the samples.

Snipped, snapped, squished, stuttered.
Used the Sensitive Female Chord Progression so that I can win a Grammy.
process:ableton live, lots of filters. Tried to bring out the grain of the sample in as many places as I could. Only about 4 tracks of audio--lots of effects and multiband distortion.

Mark.Nine - Until The End
Pieces were cut from the sample and heavy EQing were added to get the desired effect. In this case, the kick drum, snare and hi hat.
Melody was used from a tiny random part of the sample (0.04 seconds), stretched out and placed on the piano roll with a nice delay. Same technique applied for the bass and delicious pad.
There's three total different melodic parts to the song. Enjoy!
first submission, here we go.
This was stressful?
Thought I'd try something different. Generative thing controlling resonant bandpass filters tuning the sample, short envelopes for the beats. Mixed on headphones.
This is the best take the generative stuff came up with.
this turtle has a vertical leap beyond your comprehension
My DAW crashed in the middle of making my track so I started over just using a wav. editor. OK.
my quick pass at this here
dropped the sample into simpler in ableton and found lots of nice bits to use for various parts, lots of filtering and effects
filter delay in live to get the sub kick
